FAQs

What platforms do I need for this workflow?
- You’ll need Lightroom Classic for editing, and I highly recommend Photo Mechanic or another culling system (not AI!) for faster culling (but it's not required). Most photographers have some sort of photo delivery system. I help you use what you have to simplify your workload and give your clients a high-end experience. All of these programs have free trials so you can see what works best for you!
Will this work with my editing style?
- I will show you the workflow I use to create my signature light and bright edits, however the workflow works for any editing style- just plug in your own edits to the workflow I created!
How quickly will I see results?
- You will see an immediate change in your editing time when you implement this workflow. Some students cut their editing time in half almost immediately! The more you practice it, the faster and more natural it becomes. 60 minute galleries are just around the corner for you!
Will editing faster lower the quality of my galleries?
- Absolutely not. I believe your business should serve your clients AND your own family well. The goal is to remove unnecessary time-wasting habits so you can deliver beautiful, consistent galleries faster while still creating an experience your clients will RAVE about- and keep coming back.
Is this only for photographers with huge workloads?
- No! Whether you’re drowning in backlogged galleries or simply want more time back in your week, this workflow was designed to help you work more efficiently and sustainably, and help you get back to LOVING the work you do.
Do you use AI in your editing workflow?
- AI tools are not part of my workflow. I still prefer having full control over choosing my images and making my edits personally. I do use a few Lightroom tools that incorporate AI when they genuinely save time, but this workflow is focused much more on building an efficient system than relying on AI to do the work for you.
